Starting at Cerulean City, head east towards the Rock Tunnel. Then surf South to the Power Plant. You need to make your way through the Power Plant, battling Fake Voltorbs and Electrodes. Till you make it to Zapdos' Room.
Zapdos is one of the Legendary Trio Birds, it is a Electric/Flying Type. It is weak to Ice & Rock. It only has two Moves; Drill Peck & Thunder Shock. You will need a few Ultra Balls, plus a couple of Repels to back it back out easily.
