Once you have defeat Team Rocket for the first time at the Slowpoke Well, Kurt, the creator of Poke Balls will offer to trade Apricorns for Pokeballs. Apricorns can be harvested from Apricorn Trees which are scattered through the game. Different Apricorns will create different Poke Balls.
(Black) Blk Apricorns - Heavy Ball - Better for Heavier Pokemon
(Blue) Blu Apricorns - Lure Ball - Better for Pokemon hooked by a Fishing Rod
(Green) Grn Apricorns - Friend Ball - Makes a Pokemon more Friendly
(Pink) Pnk Apricorns - Love Ball - Better for Pokemon of the opposite gender, but same species
(Red) Red Apricorns - Level Ball - Better for Lower-Levelled Pokemon
(White) Wht Apricorns - Fast Ball - Better for Faster Pokemon
(Yellow) Ylw Apricorns - Moon Ball - Better for Pokemon that evolve with a Moon Stone
Kurt will take time to create the Poke Balls, so I recommend getting Kurt's Number so you can be notified when the Poke Balls are ready to be collected.
