Gym Leader #7: Blaine - Fire

Blaine has four Pokemon; Growlithe, Ponyta, Rapidash & Arcanine. His gym is simple, in fact you don't have to battle any trainers, you can use the Quiz Machine, to avoid the battle, if you get the question wrong you will have to battle trainer. If you don't want to bother with the the Quiz Machines, you can just move straight on to the trainer defeat them and open the door.

Blaine's Gym Quiz Machine Questions:
Question 1 - Caterpie evolve into Butterfree? Yes

Question 2 - There are 9 certified Pokemon League Badges? No

Question 3 - Poliwag evolves 3 times? No

Question 4 - Are Thunder Moves effective against Ground Element-Type Pokemon? No

Question 5 - Pokemon of the same kind and level are not identical? Yes

Question 6 - TM28 contains Tombstoner? No

Growlithe
Level: 42
Types: Fire
Attacks: Ember, Leer, Take Down & Agility
Weakness: Ground, Rock & Water
Strategy: Growlithe isn't very strong, easy to take it out.

Ponyta
Level: 40
Types: Fire
Attacks: Tail Whip, Stomp, Growl & Fire Spin.
Weakness: Ground, Rock & Water
Strategy: Ponyta will use Fire Spin which will trap you in a Fire Vortex which becaused extremely annoying, it is also quiet fast.

Rapidash
Level: 42
Types: Fire
Attacks: Tail Whip, Stomp, Growl & Fire Spin
Weakness: Ground, Rock & Water
Strategy: Rapidash will use Fire Spin which will trap you in a Fire Vortex which becaused extremely annoying, it is will probably out speed most of your team as well.

Arcanine
Level: 47
Types: Fire
Attacks: Roar, Ember, Fire Blast & Take Down
Weakness: Ground, Rock & Water
Strategy: Arcanine is an extremely strong Pokemon and will probably Roar out your super-effective Pokemon, it can also hit hard with Fire Blast. Arcanine will probably out speed most of your team as well.

Once you defeat Blaine, you will get TM 38 Fire Blast and the Volcano Badge.
