Gym Leader #4: Morty - Ghost

Morty has four Pokemon; Gastly, Haunter, Haunter and Gengar. His gym is simple, when you battle each of the Mediums, they will blow out their candles so that you can't see the path. You need to memorise the path before the battle otherwise you will fall in to the storm depths below.

Gastly

Level: 21

Types: Ghost/Poison

Ability: Levitate

Attacks: Lick, Spite, Mean Look & Curse

Weakness: Psychic, Ghost & Dark

Strategy: Gastly is pretty weak, but Curse can be annoying throughout the battle.

Haunter

Level: 21
Types: Ghost/Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Nightmare & Curse
Weakness: Psychic, Ghost & Dark
Strategy: Pack Awakenings to avoid Haunter's Hypnosis & Dream Eater/Nightmare Combo.

Haunter
Level: 23
Types: Ghost/Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Sucker Punch, Night Shade, Mean Look & Curse
Weakness: Psychic, Ghost & Dark
Strategy: Not too tough but can be annoying with Curse.

Gengar
Level: 25
Types: Ghost/Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Hypnosis, Shadow Ball, Mean Look & Sucker Punch
Weakness: Psychic, Ghost & Dark
Strategy: Gengar is quiet bulky, packing Shadow Ball, it can hit hard as well. More than likely putting you to sleep and then sweeper with Shadow Ball.

Once you defeat Morty, you will get TM 30 Shadow Ball and the Fog Badge.
