Gym Leader #6: Koga - Poison

Koga has four Pokemon; Koffing, Muk, Koffing & Weezing. His gym can be tricky if you don't know the path. The gym is filled with invisible walls, there is a certain path you need to take to get to Koga.

Koffing

Level: 37

Types: Poison

Ability: Levitate

Attacks: Selfdestruct, Sludge, Smoke Screen & Toxic

Weakness: Psychic

Strategy: Something that can take hits as it will more than likely selfdestruct when it is near the Red Zone.

Muk

Level: 39
Types: Poison
Ability: Sticky Hold
Attacks: Minimize, Sludge, Acid Armour & Toxic
Weakness: Psychic & Ground
Strategy: A fast STAB Attacker is going work here. Muk will use Minimize as much as it can to avoid getting hit. Something like Alazakam or Nidoking/Nidoqueen is going to work really well against it.

Koffing

Level: 37
Types: Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Selfdestruct, Sludge, Smoke Screen & Toxic
Weakness: Psychic
Strategy: Something that can take hits as it will more than likely selfdestruct when it is near the Red Zone.

Weezing

Level: 43
Types: Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Tackle, Sludge, Smoke Screen & Toxic
Weakness: Psychic
Strategy: Weezing is the easiest to take down, if you have a Psychic Type or someone with the move Psychic you are going to be fine.

Once you defeat Koga you will get TM 06 Toxic and the Soul Badge.
