Gym Leader #12: Janine - Poison

Janine has five Pokemon; Crobat, Weezing, Ariados, Ariados & Venomoth. Her gym, which she inherited from her father Koga, can be tricky. The gym is full of invisible walls, with the 4 trainers dressed as Janine to trick you into battle them. Janine is the trainer in the middle of the room.

Crobat

Level: 47

Types: Poison/Flying

Ability: Inner Focus

Attacks: Confuse Ray, Screech, Wing Attack & Supersonic

Weakness: Psychic, Ice, Electric & Rock

Strategy: Confuse Ray and Supersonic are gonna be annoying really quick, strike fast with something Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Rock Slide or Psychic.

Weezing

Level: 44
Types: Poison
Ability: Levitate
Attacks: Sludge Bomb, Toxic, Explosion & Double Hit
Weakness: Psychic
Strategy: A STAB Psychic is going to work the best as Ground-Types can't hit you.

Ariados

Level: 47
Types: Bug/Poison
Ability: Insomnia
Attacks: Swagger, Night Shade, Poison Jab & Pin Missile
Weakness: Psychic, Rock, Flying & Fire
Strategy: Moves like Fly or Fire Blast are going to work the best, just watch out for Swagger.

Ariados

Level: 47
Types: Bug/Poison
Ability: Insomnia
Attacks: Psychic, Poison Jab, Screech & Pin Missile
Weakness: Psychic, Rock, Flying & Fire
Strategy: Moves like Fly or Fire Blast are going to work the best.

Venomoth

Level: 50
Types: Bug/Poison
Ability: Tinted Lens
Attacks: Double Team, Psychic, Sludge Bomb & Signal Beam
Weakness: Psychic, Rock, Flying & Fire
Strategy: Rock, Fire or Flying Types are going to work the best, but be quick as Double Team can become really annoying really quickly.

Once you defeat Janine, you will get TM 84 Poison Jab and the Soul Badge.
