Gym Leader #10: Sabrina - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Gym Leader #10: Sabrina - Psychic

Sabrina has three Pokemon; Espeon, Mr. Mime & Alakazam. Her gym hasn't changed much from the original Kanto Games, you need to make your way to the centre of the room using the Warp Panels on the floor in each room.

Espeon

Level: 53

Types: Psychic

Ability: Synchronize

Attacks: Calm Mind, Shadow Ball, Psychic & Skill Swap

Weakness: Ghost, Dark & Bug

Strategy: Espeon always uses Calm Mind on its first turn, allowing it to bulky up to much will allow it to sweep through your team. A solid Shadow Ball or other Ghost Attack will work well.

Mr. Mime

Level: 53
Types: Psychic
Ability: Filter
Attacks: Mimic, Light Screen, Psychic & Skill Swap
Weakness: Ghost, Dark & Bug
Strategy: By far the most annoying Pokemon on her team - with Light Screen, Skill Swap and Filter Ability allowing it to take 1/2 damage from Super-Effective Moves. It can be a real pain in the ass. Use a Special Attacking Move, which isn't Super-Effective, something like Ice Beam or Earthquake.

Alakazam

Level: 55
Types: Psychic
Ability: Inner Focus
Attacks: Psychic, Skill Swap, Reflect & Energy Ball
Weakness: Ghost, Dark & Bug
Strategy: Something like Shadow Ball, Signal Beam, Earthquake a hard hitting STAB Attack is going to work well. Watch out for the Energy Ball which will knock out Water Types quickly.

Once you defeat Sabrina, you will get TM 48 Skill Swap and the Marsh Badge.
