Complete "Lost to the Ages" - 30

This Quest is part of the Dawnguard DLC.

This quest can be started by two ways;

Talk to Katria once entering Arkngthamz OR read a copy of the book "The Aetherium War"

You need to visit the four Dwemer Ruins;

Arkngthamz

(Inside The Reach, near Dushnikh and Valthume)

Deep Folk Crossing

(NW of Bthardamz, W of Druadach Redoubt, SW of Mor Khazgur, N of The Reach Stormcloak/Imperial Camp)

Raldbthar

(E of Shearpoint, NW of Gallows Rock, SW of Anga's Mill)

Mzulf

(W of Eastmarch, SE of Windhelm, N of Cragslane Cavern)

Continue through each of these locations and collect a Aetherium Shard at each location.

Then you need to travel to the Aetherium Forge at the Ruins of Bthalft

(SW of Ivarstead, E of The Rift Imperial Camp)

You need to place all four Aetherium Shards on the Dwemer Globe, creating the Aetherium Crest, the ground will then shake the ruin tower will shoot up out of the ground, if you are still standing on the tower as it shoots up you will be come stuck up there.

Then continue through the Ruins of Bthalft towards the Forge Room.

Shut off the steam via the large valves, then you will have to fight off some Dwemer Spider and Dwemer Guardians, turning off the steam valves again half-way through the fight. After the enemies have been destroyed, The Forgemaster will appear out of the lava - defeat him.

Then you can put use the Aetherium Crest with the Forge to craft either;

The Aetherial Crown - Use two Standing Stones Powers at once.

The Aetherial Shield - Turns enemies neutral, then when bashed they cannot harm the Dragonborn.

The Aetherial Staff - Spawns Dwemer Spider or Dwemer Sphere for 60 seconds.

Katria will then disappear, thanking you.
