Gym Leader #3 Wattson - Electric

Wattson has four Pokemon; Voltorb, Electrike, Magneton & Manectric. You need to step on the correct floor panels to change the electric fences to get through the small maze, you will be able to press on all of the panels in the correct order just by battling the trainers in order as you go through the gym

Voltorb

Level: 20

Types: Electric

Ability: Soundproof

Attacks: Rollout, Spark, Selfdestruct & Shock Wave

Weakness: Ground

Strategy: Any Ground Type Moves will do well here, as soon as Voltorb ducks under 1/3 health, it will use Selfdestruct and deal a lot of damage.

Electrike

Level: 20

Types: Electric

Ability: Static

Attacks: Shock Wave, Leer, Quick Attack & Howl

Weakness: Ground

Strategy: Avoid using Physical Moves to avoiding being paralyzed. Hit with any Ground Type Attacks.

Magneton

Level: 22

Types: Electric/Steel

Ability: Magnet Pull

Attacks: Supersonic, Shock Wave, Thunder Wave & Sonic Boom

Weakness: Ground, Fire & Fighting

Strategy: Magneton will try and confuse you and paralyze you, attack quickly with any super effective move to avoid being status inflicted

Manectric

Level: 24

Types: Electric

Ability: Static

Attacks: Quick Attack, Thunder Wave, Shock Wave & Howl

Weakness: Ground

Strategy: Manectric can be really annoying, paralyzing you and using Howl to boost its attack stats. Use Ground Type Attacks to take it out quickly.

Once you defeat Wattson you will get TM 34 Shock Wave and the Dynamo Badge.
