Battle Tents - Pokemon Emerald

Battle Tents have replaced Contest Halls in Slateport City, Verdanturf Town & Fallarbor Town. While playing through the game, you will have bumped into a man called Scott - who is Owner of the Battle Frontier. The Battle Tents will help you practice for the Battle Frontier, having a couple of different battle types, which you can win and master.

The Battle Tent Battle Types are:

Battle Factory

Battle Palace

Battle Arena

Battle Factory is found in Slateport City. This is a rental Pokemon Battle format. You need to choose 3 out of the 6 random rental Pokemon, which are all at Level 30, to fight against 3 trainers.

Battle Palace is found in Verdanturf Town. This is a Computer-Controlled Battle. You need to choose 3 of your Pokemon to fight against 3 trainers. But your Pokemon are controlled by the computer and you have to hope the computer is able to beat the trainer.

Battle Arena is found in Fallarbor Town. This is a Contest-Style Battle. You need to choose 3 of your Pokemon to fight against 3 trainers. You have 3 turns to knock out the trainer's Pokemon, if you aren't able to knock out their Pokemon, the Judges decide who fought best.

At the end of the battle, instead of gaining experience, you win Battle Points and Prizes. Battle Points can be spent on some expensive items at the Battle Frontier. The expensive items include; Battle Steroids, X-Items, Full Restores, Full Revives & Evolution Items.
