Starting at the Sea Mauville, you need to catch to a Scientist who works for Captain Stern, he says he is searching for a Scanner which is lost onboard the wrecked ship. The Scanner is in the sunken part of the ship, inside the control room. The Scanner is hidden on the lower-right stairway.
Return to the Scientist, he tells you to deliver it to Captain Stern who is back in Slateport Harbour. He rewards you with either the Clear Bell or the Tidal Bell, depending on your game. Clear Bell - Omega Ruby / Tidal Bell - Alpha Sapphire.
Ho-Oh
You need to climb to the highest point of the ship, right off the bow of the vessel. There will be a mysterious floating ring. Ho-Oh waits inside the other realm.
