The Aquila, is the naval ship that Connor is able to command throughout the game. Upgrades to the ship can be bought from the book at the Harbormasters table.
Upgrades you can buy;
Wooden Hull Reinforcements - £13,000
Extra Cannon (Hull-Mounted) - £2,500
Heat Shot - £19,000
Grapeshot - £17,000
Improved Rudder - £11,000
Piercing Round - £9,000
Naval Ram - £8,00
You only have to buy one for the achievement.
