Perfection #1 - Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - Freedom Cry DLC

Before I start, I don't tend to do Multiplayer Achievements because usually it is a giant pain in the ass or the game I am playing, the Multiplayer Servers have been closed down. But I will say what I didn't do in the description of my perfection of a game or DLC.

Assassin's Creed IV: Black Fry - Freedom Cry DLC puts us in the shows of Adewale, the former quartermaster of the Jackdaw, alongside Edward Kenway, after spitting up from the crew. Adewale is a pirate captain, but his ship is blown off coarse, landing on the shores of Haiti. He meets Bastienne Josephe and the Maroons who agrees to help him with his troubles if he frees slaves from French occupied plantations and ships. He is given a ship, and commands and fight along side the Maroons for the Assassin's Creed.

There are 9 Memory Sequences, each with Optional Objectives, which I completed. There are 6 Achievements, worth 170 Gamerscore, I collect to 100% the DLC. I also bought all upgrades with Adewale and The Experto Crede.

The Achievements are;

Liberation Day - Free your 1st Slave - 15/Bronze

Seeds of independence - Liberate 500 Slaves - 40/Silver

Firepower - Kill 5 Guards at once with a Blunderbuss - 15/Bronze

His Own Medicine - Gave the Gouverneur a taste of his own medicine - 20/Bronze

His Word Was "Perhaps" - Complete all Missions - 30/Silver

His Full Attention - Achieve 100% Synchronization - 50/Gold

Difficulty: 2/10
Time to complete: 9 Hours to 100%
Overall Enjoyment: 7/10

I found that when running near the shore on Haiti, Adewale would suddenly cease running for no reason, also the standard jumping off the roof even though you didn't press in that direction. Apart from that I really enjoyed the game and thought this DLC story was pretty great. Grinding to save 500 slaves was a little bit annoying but it was pretty fun none the less.

This is done in Memory Sequence 9 - de Fayet's Last Stand. You'll make your way to the Governor's Mansion, you need to kill the 4 Heavy Guards standing at the gate with a Blunderbuss shot. This will que Marquis de Fayet to run to the barracks near the shore. You need to then kill the rest of the guards, without killing Marquis.

Now I recommend leading him towards the shore, away from the rest of the bodies. Now you need to Counter him, then Hurt him. This will make him fall over and drop his Branding Iron. Now pick up the Branding Iron and kill him with it.

How to get the Phone Numbers of Gym Leaders - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Once you have defeated a Gym Leader, you are able to rematch them by calling them with the PokeGear. One you rematch them for the first time, they will go to the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City.

Falkner will have Pokemon around Level 50 - 56, while Blue will have Pokemon around Level 67 - 72. Rematching Gym Leaders would allow you to gain experience without having to grind experience by fighting wild Pokemon. Each Gym Leader can be found all over both regions, at different times of the day and different days of the week. You'll find them in their locations, talking to them, they will give you their numbers, of which you can call them and rematch.

Falkner - 4th Floor of the Celadon Department Store - All day Monday.

Bugsy - Viridian Forest - All day Thursday.

Whitney - 6th Floor of the Goldenrod Department Store - Any day between 12pm & 4pm.

Morty - Bellchime Trail - Any time on Monday & Tuesday.

Chuck (Chuck's Wife) - Outside of Cianwood City - Any time, any day.

Jasmine - Olivine Cafe - Any day between 1pm & 2pm.

Pryce - By Lake of Rage - Any day between 6am & 10am.

Brock - Diglett's Cave - Any day between 12pm & 3pm.

Misty - Route 25 - Any day between 4pm & 6pm.

Lt. Surge - Outside the Kanto Power Plant - Any day between 9am & 11am.

Erika - Near the Celadon City Fountain - Weekend between 3pm & 5pm.

Janine - Pokemon League Reception Gate - Any day between 4pm & 6pm.

Sabrina - Olivine Harbour - Friday any time.

Blaine - Cinnabar Island - Tuesday any time.

Blue (Blue's Sister Daisy) - Blue's House in Pallet Town - Any time, any day.

Conditions:

To talk to Clair; you need have defeated her and Lance in a Multi Battle in the Dragon's Den.

To talk to Misty; you need have caught/defeated Suicune.

To talk to Lt. Surge; you need have caught/defeated Zapdos & walking with a Pikachu.

To rematch Blue; you need to have 7 Pokemon to get a massage from Daisy & walking with a Pokemon with Max Friendship.

Once you have their number and have defeated them in a rematch battle; the gym leader will reside at the Fighting Dojo, you can then rematch them as many times as you want.

How to get Kyogre, Groudon & Rayquaza - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

After defeating Red, go talk to Professor Oak in Pallet Town. Firstly, he will give you one of the Kanto Starters Pokemon. Then you go to Saffron City, on the ground floor of the department store, you can find Steven and he will give you one of the Hoenn Starters Pokemon.

Now you can go to Mr. Pokemon's House on Route 30. He will give you either the Blue Orb (Heart Gold) or the Red Orb (Soul Silver). You can now go to the Embedded Tower on Route 47, you'll need Surf and Rock Climb to get to the entrance of the Embedded Tower.

If you are playing Heart Gold you will get the chance to catch Kyogre & if you are playing Soul Silver you will get the chance to catch Groudon.

Kyogre is the Lord of the Seas, it is a Water Type. It is weak to Electric and Grass. It has 4 moves; Aqua Ring, Ice Beam, Ancient Power & Water Spout.

Groudon is the Lord of the Land, it is a Ground Type. It is weak to Grass, Ice and Water. It has 4 moves; Rest, Earthquake, Ancient Power & Eruption.

Once you have caught both Legendary Pokemon, meaning you'll have to complete both Heart Gold and Soul Silver, go back to Professor Oak in Pallet Town and show him the two Legendary Pokemon. He will then give you the Jade Orb. Now you can go back to the Embedded Tower, then you'll have the ability to catch Rayquaza.

Rayquaza is the Lord of the Skies, it is a Dragon/Flying Type. It is weak to Ice, Rock & Dragon. It has 4 moves; Rest, Air Slash, Ancient Power & Outrage.

Kill 5 Guards at once with a Blunderbuss - 15

This can be done easiest in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. In the South of the Island, there is a Templar Guarded Building. Set up some firecrackers to distract some guards, courses them to come and see what all the noise is about. I had 6 Templar Guards come around. You can then shoot the Blunderbuss into the crowd and kill at least 5 of them.

Mini Ninjas is cool game I played on the Xbox 360 a while ago, but I have always wanted it on the Wii because my friend had it when I was younger and I was never able to play it. Anyways, I enjoyed it on Xbox 360, so I thought I would also get on the Nintendo Wii for the motion controls, I haven't played it yet, but it is in the unplayed pile.

L.A. Noire was really cool, I remember seeing game play of it on YouTube about 7 years ago thought it was really neat. I also really like American 1940's styling in general, the old car, the pinstripe suits, the slang every wise guy uses. I thought the questioning aspect of the game was pretty cool and the story was really interesting.

Duke Nukem Forever I thought was a "really out there" game, I played Duke Nukem 3D on the Xbox Live Arcade a while ago and thought it was pretty cool. I saw the game in a second-hand store for something like £3 so I had to pick it up. Again I haven't played it yet, but I am looking forward to it.

Halo 4 in the Metal Case is pretty neat, I have already played Halo 4 multiple times, through the 360 release and in the Master Chief Collection. I have always been a huge Halo fan, so again I saw it for about £5 and picked it up.

Need for Speed: Payback was really good for a Modern Need for Speed Game, I wanted to play it seen it was released but really didn't want to pay £40 for it. But I got it later for cheap and I thought it wasn't as good as the classic NFS games, but a lot better then the more resent games in the series. I thought the multiple classes of cars was neat with Drag, Drift, Race, Offroad & Runner, all being self-explanatory, apart from Runner, when you are trying to out run police cars from pulling off heists and data collections.

Lightning McQueen Mattel Toy Car, firstly I honestly loved Disney Cars & Disney Cars 3, ignoring the second film... I love cars and I saw the first film when I was 8, which I think properly kick-started the love for cars. Also the toy was given to me by my friend as a joke for a late Christmas present, so it was a win/win situation.

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets was a really great film, I believe it was swept under the rug by bigger films coming out at the same time. Based of the French Comics, Valerian and Laureline, I thought the story was pretty awesome and the Special Effects were even better, creating the world of a thousand alien species, weapons, gadgets and vehicles, the film was pretty great and was unfairly rated.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World did terribly at the box office, but was loved by critics and even has a large cult following, based of the Comics, it is the most faithful comic/book adaption ever down to the graphics, story and script. I really enjoyed this film, especially being directed by one of my favourite directors ever, Edgar Wright, I thought Michael Cera was great as Scott Pilgrim and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, I thought the one-screen couple worked extremely well together and the film flowed will on a whole.

LEGO Beatles Yellow Submarine a little bit of an impulse buy as I loved the Beatles and I love LEGO, also I heard that the model was ending its production soon anyways, so I had to get it. Anyways it is destined to arrive on the 2nd of February but I bought it on the 22nd of January... anyways I am sure it will look really neat on my desk in my office.
