Gym Leader #14: Brock - Rock

Brock has five Pokemon; Graveler, Rhydon, Omastar, Onix & Kabutops. His gym is extremely simple, just walk straight up to him, or walk around the boulders to avoid the trainers.

Graveler

Level: 51

Types: Rock/Ground

Ability: Sturdy

Attacks: Earthquake, Defense Curl, Rock Slide & Rollout

Weakness: Grass, Ground, Water, Ice, Steel & Fighting

Strategy: Water and Grass are a great choice.

Rhyhorn

Level: 51
Types: Ground/Rock
Ability: Sturdy
Attacks: Earthquake, Scary Face, Sandstorm & Horn Drill
Weakness: Grass, Ground, Water, Ice, Steel & Fighting
Strategy: Water and Grass are a choice, but give a second thought about sending in a Ground, Rock or Steel Type to avoid the affects of Sandstorm.

Omastar

Level: 53
Types: Rock/Water
Ability: Swift Swim
Attacks: Spike Cannon, Ancient Power, Brine & Protect
Weakness: Grass, Ground, Electric & Fighting
Strategy: Electric and Grass are the best choice.

Onix

Level: 54
Types: Rock/Ground
Ability: Sturdy
Attacks: Rock Slide, Iron Tail, Sandstorm & Screech
Weakness: Grass, Ground, Water, Ice, Steel & Fighting
Strategy: Water and Grass are a great choice.

Kabutops

Level: 52
Types: Rock/Water
Ability: Swift Swim
Attacks: Rock Slide, Aqua Jet, Endure & Giga Drain
Weakness: Grass, Ground, Electric & Fighting
Strategy: Ice and Water are going to work well as Giga Drain as Water-Types are countered by Giga Drain.

Once you defeat Brock, you will get TM 80 Rock Slide and the Boulder Badge.

How to catch Suicune - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Throughout the game and post-game you'll bump into Eusine who is tracking Suicune, you'll bump into him at Cianwood City, Mt. Mortar, Vermilion City & Route 14. Once you have bumped into him the four times, you will need to defeat Misty at the Cerulean Gym. Once you have done all that you can go to the hill just east of Bill's Cottage at the top of Route 25.

Suicune is one of the Legendary Beasts, it is Water Type. It is weak to Electric and Grass. It has 4 moves; Rain Dance, Gust, Aurora Beam & Mist. You will need a bunch of Ultra Balls.

The Pal Park - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

In Fuchsia City in Heart Gold and Soul & in Route 221 in Diamond, Pearl & Platinum, you can find the Pal Park. This is kinda like the Safari Zone from previous generations. It holds two purposes; Migrating Pokemon from previous generation to the 4th Generation & Catching Pokemon.

To migrate Pokemon across generations, you need to have your 4th Generation Game in the DS Slot in the top of the Nintendo DS, as well as a 3rd Generation Cartridge in the GameBoy Advanced Slot in the bottom of the Nintendo DS. You are able to transfer 6 3rd Generation Pokemon at a time, which then are able to be caught in the Pal Park, using Park Balls. This is pretty much how you would get Regigigas in Diamond & Pearl.

Once the 6 Pokemon have been transfer into your 4th Generation Game, you will have the ability to catch them in the Catching Show. But the transferred Pokemon are rare to find, also you need to catch them with Park Balls, which work similarly to the Safari Balls. Catching Pokemon in the Catching Contest will raise your score, which, as we all know, points mean prizes - the points can be exchanged for Berries.

Gym Leader #13: Misty - Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver

Gym Leader #13: Misty - Water

Misty has four Pokemon; Golduck, Quagsire, Lapras & Starmie. Her gym is simple, you will need Surf to battle all the trainers in the Gym, but Misty is sitting on a lifeguards' chair at the far side of the gym.

Golduck

Level: 49

Types: Water

Ability: Damp

Attacks: Water Pulse, Disable, Psychic & Psych Up

Weakness: Grass & Electric

Strategy: Easy Knock Out - a STAB Electric or Grass Type will have an easy time here.

Quagsire

Level: 49
Types: Water/Ground
Ability: Water Absorb
Attacks: Water Pulse, Amnesia, Rain Dance & Earthquake
Weakness: Grass
Strategy: Try not to let Quagsire use Amnesia otherwise it can become pretty tank-y. Fast Grass-Type is the best option.

Lapras

Level: 52
Types: Water/Ice
Ability: Shell Armour
Attacks: Ice Beam, Sing, Water Pulse & Body Slam
Weakness: Grass, Fighting, Electric & Rock
Strategy: I found that Electric and Fighting Type worked best as Ice Beam counters Rock & Grass-Types, I also put a Chesto Berry on my Pokemon so it can instantly wake up from Sleep caused by Sing.

Starmie

Level: 54
Types: Water/Psychic
Ability: Natural Cure
Attacks: Water Pulse, Confuse Ray, Ice Beam & Recover
Weakness: Grass, Bug, Electric, Dark & Ghost
Strategy: Starmie is really annoying with Recover and Confuse Ray so Dark and Bug Types worked best for me.

Once you defeat Misty you will get TM 03 Water Pulse and the Cascade Badge.
